Attleborough Upholstery are a newly established (2007) innovative, superior quality manufacturer of fine upholstered furniture. We are proud to offer a comprehensive range to complement all trends. From traditional and classic styles to modern, chic and contemporary designs, we pride ourselves on the upmost quality and high standard of service we are able to deliver to all our clients. Our unique furniture is tailored specifically to cater for all tastes.

As a team, our dedicated craftsmen have delivered quality furniture, from conception through to manufacture and delivery for over 20 years. All our furniture, from design through to fruition, is developed onsite to order in our fully equiped workshop. We only use top grade materials and a full range of finishes are available.

You can select from our popular standard furniture ranges, simply choosing the fabric or leather of your choice from our extensive range for the final finish. Alternatively, our design team are able to create unique bespoke, custom made furniture. Where individuality is required, we can either work to your designs or we can design pieces for you ensuring your item of furniture meets your exact requirements and image.

About our principal designer and craftsman Carl Barber

You can be rest assured that your ideas and furniture are in the best possible hands. Carl Barber has been instrumental in the design and manufacture of a huge variety of high quality furniture and ranges for 22 years. Either as principal or as an employed or contracted craftsman, designer and upholsterer, Carl has completed projects for companies such as the Tate Gallery and the Barbican as well as individuals like Joan Armatrading, Sarah Ferguson, Tate Galleryand Simon Mayo to name just a few.

Having served his apprenticeship in marine refurbishment, Carl has worked for some prestige companies making fine furniture and also managing the prototypes for new furniture ranges. These include: -

Whilst working on a contract for Liberty’s, Carl had the pleasure of upholstering furniture ordered for H.R.H. Prince of Wales.

In 2007, after an accomplished career in the furniture design, manufacture and upholstery industry, Carl Barber established Attleborough Upholstery.
